The Jonathan R. Brockman, P.C. law firm was featured in the February/March edition of Fortune magazine and the February edition of Forbes magazine:
Every case is important to Jonathan R. Brockman, P.C., a community-driven personal injury law firm in metropolitan Atlanta that focuses exclusively on the plaintiff side.
When it comes to personal injury law, Jonathan Brockman knows what the other side is thinking:
He once was there. For the first 15 years of his career, he defended large insurance companies and their insureds. Then he changed course, assembling a team of skilled people to form Jonathan R. Brockman, P.C., a personal injury firm that focuses exclusively on the plaintiff side.
Today, his firm is known in the communities where it works for taking on cases large and small, and for always treating clients with respect.
“Our practice areas reflect our community focus,” Brockman says.
“We routinely handle complex cases involving medical negligence, commercial trucking collisions, and premises liability, but we also handle less complex claims related to automobile accidents and dog bites because, while these claims are often small, the people in our communities need help. We believe that every case matters. We’re skilled, we care, and we get results.”
Brockman has stationed his team in five locations around Atlanta to make the firm accessible to the communities it serves as well as the state. Outside of work, a Brockman attorney might be seen at a Feed The Hungary holiday dinner, hosting an end-of-year breakfast for teachers, or serving as a board member for local nonprofits.
“Our people have roots in these places,” says Brockman. “We truly support the communities where we live and work.”
Brockman’s attorneys bring a wide range of experiences and accomplishments to the table, with most being selected to the Georgia’s Super Lawyers list, members of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and AV Preeminent rated for legal ability and ethics. All have worked on the defense side of personal injury cases for major insurance carriers. “Because of our backgrounds, lawyers on the other side don’t harbor any visions of getting fastballs by my people,” Brockman says.
“The strength of my team is known.”
Perhaps most daunting are the firm’s litigation skills. It’s a game-changer, says Brockman. “When I say, “We’re filing suit,’ carriers don’t doubt it, and they know we’ll do it properly.” Several of the firm’s attorneys, including Brockman, have tried over 100 cases in front of Georgia juries.
The Brockman firm has recovered well over $100 million in verdicts and settlements. Our goal is to have clients feel valued and to get fairly compensated for their injuries.
“We’ve helped change the course of people’s lives. I can’t even explain how rewarding that is,” Brockman says. “There is a people-helping element of this that I take seriously, and my team does too.”
