Biography
Cynthia Matthews Daley is a practicing Georgia attorney who focuses exclusively on representing people injured or killed by the negligence of others.
She is an experienced trial lawyer who has practiced for over 19 years earning a reputation as not only a skilled trial lawyer but also of upholding the highest ethical and professional standards in the practice of law. She has not only successfully tried cases to verdict in federal court and many state courts throughout Georgia, she has also been admitted Pro Hac Vice and tried cases outside of Georgia; representing clients in premises liability, medical malpractice, wrongful death, personal injury, Section 1983, estate and third party claims. In the appellate courts, Ms. Daley has briefed cases before the United States Supreme Court, briefed and argued cases before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia.
Ms. Daley is highly involved in the Carroll County community being a leading sponsor for Teacher Appreciation and Law Enforcement Appreciation programs; providing student journals for Ithica Elementary School; leading sponsor and host of Carroll County Bar Association’s Kentucky Derby Gala benefitting Healing Carroll Families, Inc., sponsor for the Carroll County Autism Foundation’s Snowball, Carroll County Mental Health Advocates’ Masquerade Ball and Partner’s Advancing Student Success’ Ladies Night Out and CASA’s Night of Lights.

Ms. Daley focuses her practice on medical malpractice, wrongful death claims, automobile accidents and premises liability claims. She is committed to helping individuals and their families who have been injured or killed as a result of the negligence of others.
History
Prior to joining a large Atlanta firm, Ms. Daley clerked for the Honorable Justice Hugh P. Thompson at the Supreme Court of Georgia. At the large Atlanta firm, Ms. Daley handled complex litigation matters in federal courts defending governmental entities and officials, medical malpractice claims, car accidents, and premises liability matters.
In 2006, Ms. Daley left the large Atlanta firm and opened her own firm representing individuals injured or killed by the negligence of others. In addition, Ms. Daley was appointed as an Associated Magistrate Judge for Carroll County where she served until she was appointed as the County Attorney for Carroll County where she served for 9 years and served as the School Board Attorney for Carroll County Schools for over a decade.
